Brooke Barels has returned home from Hangzhou, China. She
received 6 stem cell injections over a one month period. The
3rd week there we noticed some speech improvements and anticipate
more developmental changes in the months to follow. Our family
wishes to extend our thanks to all of you who attended Brooke’s
Benefit on February 24th. Remember the snowstorm?! Thank you
to all the auction donators and bidders. For the raffle tickets
purchased, cards sent, anonymous Bank donations made, thoughts
and prayers for Brooke, we are thankful. So many of you made

As you can see, we live in a very caring community. We are
fortunate for family and friends who care for Brooke and the
many new friends we have met through the Benefit. We thank
